I've also tried sigma-x on the sb5100i but no success..just scanning! Region is europe. -whats the difference between a sb5100E and a sb5100i ? -is there a possibility to get the sb5100i running? SB5100MOD Does Not Need the BOOTLOADER. Program Stock flash to Modem, Then Program the SB5100MOD Firmware ONLY.... Browse to the folder where you saved SB5100MoD.1.0.4. [Solo usuarios Registrados pueden ver los links. click para registrarte] and chose the file "SIGMAX-BL_v2.6-LITE " , then press "flash" this will take about 2 minutes to finish. Once it is done, you can NOW power cycle the modem. When it comes back on you should be able to access the modem's page ( in a browser type 192.168.100.1:666) procedimiento basico: Now that you have your Jtag, you need to get a header. I would have to recommend a solder less one, which just clips into the main board of the modems. If you cant find any, normal ones that you solder in will do fine. So, solder or clip the header onto the modem, then attach the jtag. Now You need to decide which Modem and firmware you want to use. You can use a stock one, but that will make everything else HARDER (injecting certs, changing macs etc. ) so I recommend going with a hacked one. I recommend 5100mod for sb5100s (and all bcm 3348 chips) and Latest Hax0ware for sb5101s (and all other bcm3349 chips) So now that you have chosen the modem model and fimrware that you want to use, move on. Ok now it is time to flash your modem. It will take 3 - 15 seconds for the erase to start, once it starts it will take only seconds to finish and write. Now once it has finished, the last thing we need to do is the bootloader. Type ldram boot <enter> chose it and then type program boot <enter> it will take about 4 seconds to finish.
