You grew up with the roguelikes, witnessed the rise of the roguelites and even the birth of the roguelite-lites? We'd now like to present for your consideration our RogueVania, the illimate child of a modern Roguelite (Rogue Legacy, Binding of Isaac, Enter the Gungeon, Spelunky, etc.) and an old-school MetroidVania (Castlevania: SotN and its ilk).

Features:

RogueVania: The progressive exploration of an interconnected world, with the replayability of a rogue-lite and the adrenaline pumping threat of permadeath.

2D Souls-lite Action: Tough but fair combat, more than fifty weapons and spells with unique gameplay, and of course, the emergency panic roll to get you out of trouble.

Nonlinear progression: Sewers, Ossuary or Remparts? Once unlocked, special permanent abilities allow you to access new paths to reach your objective. Opt for the path that suits your current build, your play style or just your mood.

Exploration: Secret rooms, hidden passages, chag landscapes. Take a moment to stroll the towers and breath in that fresh sea mist infused air.

Interconnected levels and progressive unlocking of access to the island provides you with a real incentive to explore your surroundings. Add in a degree of evolution for your character and permanent weapon upgrades and you can see where Dead Cells borrows from the long line of MetroidVanias that precede it.

At the end of the day though, it's YOUR skills as a player that matter most! Roguelites are about constantly getting better, until what was an insurmountable obstacle becomes a walk in the park. Unforgiving combat wed to the absence of any kind of safety net makes for an adrenalin pumping ride each and every run and unrivaled replayability.

Dead Cells left Early Access on August 7th 2018 and comes with:

Episode 1 Release is the first step in this journey in becoming a Guardian. A player must use meditation, reflection and Qigong to liberate the islands of Hatina-Poora from the darklings that have come through the rift. It includes levels 1 and multiple quests to help the Strength Island with the Sloth Darklings that have infected the culture, Level 2 and multiple quests to liberate the islands people from the Fear Darklings, and Level 3 which the player will face an island under the influence of the Hate Darklings. This three level episode is the first part of a trilogy that follows the player in their journey to become a Guardian of Peace for Hastina-Poora while freeing the realm from these Darkling influences.

Episode 1 will be released for 1080p, 2k, and 4k resolutions brig this immersive experience to the player based on their hardware. Keyboard and mouse support as well as full controller support is included and can be switched in settings.

Customize your Windows copy by tweaking settings related to privacy, telemetry, the working environment, the system, the start and the context menus, and so on.

The Windows operating system comes with a default configuration but there are ways to customize the working environment and the behavior of the operating system. The Windows 10 Debloat application provides a simple method to tweak settings related to privacy and telemetry, the Windows GUI and Windows Explorer, the start and the context menu, the Windows defender and the overall security, and many more.

Easy to make changes and apply tweaks

Designed as a GUI for the Sophia Powershell script written by Dmitry Nefedov, this application allows you to apply dozens of tweaks to fine-tune Windows exactly the way you want to. Without it, you would have to edit the script manually to remove settings you don't want applied.

Working with Windows 10 Debloat is pretty intuitive. All the available settings are shown in color-coded lists: green shows that the option is enabled, while red shows it is disabled. If you don't want to select any of the options, you can choose the gray check button, which enables the Windows defaults.

A multitude of tweaks from various categories

There is a plethora of options related to telemetry that you can either enable or disable. If you are worried about your privacy when using Windows, then you should be glad to find out that Windows 10 Debloat comes with options to disable the telemetry service, the scheduled tasks, Windows tips and tailored experiences, advertising, Bing Search and many more.

The overall Windows experience can be enhanced by altering the appearance and functionality of the working environment. For instance, you can configure Windows to hide file extensions, conceal the Cortana button, show seconds in the system clock, and more. Additionally, there are options to customize Windows Explorer (e.g. show or hide file extensions, disable the Explorer ribbon GUI, reveal or hide tray icons, or change the entire Windows color scheme).

With Windows 10 Debloat, you can also uninstall OneDrive and disable settings related to automatic updates of Microsoft products, background UWP apps, admin approval mode, and other Windows features. Furthermore, the application can tamper with the Start menu, scheduled tasks, folder protection, Windows Defender exclusions, Powershell modules, and more.

Please keep in mind that you can read the tooltip messages when hovering the mouse over an option to see what it actually does.

Generates a Powershell script to apply the tweaks

Once you finish setting up all the options, Windows 10 Debloat can generate a Powershell script that can easily apply all your settings. Powershell can be launched directly from the application, but you can also save the script locally and run it whenever you need.

Windows 10 Debloat can help you fine tune Windows, even if you have Windows installed for a while. With its help, you can easily change various default settings to customize your OS copy exactly as you wish.

Improvements and fixes
This security update includes quality improvements. Key changes include:
- Security updates to Microsoft Edge Legacy, the Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Media, Windows Fundamentals, and Windows Virtualization.

As with previous fall releases, Windows 10, version 20H2 is a scoped set of features for select performance improvements, enterprise features, and quality enhancements. As an H2-targeted release, 20H2 is serviced for 30 months from the release date for devices running Windows 10 Enterprise or Windows 10 Education editions.

This release automatically includes the new Chromium-based Microsoft Edge browser instead of the legacy version of Edge.

There also are several changes that help improve the security of devices that scan Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) for updates.

Starting with Windows 10, version 20H2, LCUs and SSUs have been combined into a single cumulative monthly update, available via Microsoft Catalog or Windows Server Update Services.

Aly James Lab has released version 2.0 of the VSDSX (Virtual Simmons Drums System Extended) plugin adding native 64-bit support and native Mac AudioUnits format. This is a completely new version of the drum synth.

You probably already heard a Simmons drum synth without even knowing it... wondering what was used to produce that huge drum sound?

The Simmons hexagonal shaped Electronic drums were all over the place, on countless records and live shows during the 80s , used by artists and bands like Genesis, King Crimson, Jean Michel Jarre, Prince, Herbie Hancock, Pink Floyd etc...
The sound was not especially realistic but it was not the goal...the goal was to be huge and versatile.
Invented by Dave Simmons, the most famous drum brain called the SDSV or SDS5 was a drum synthesizer, bringing synthesis into the drummer's hands.

Often used abusively to generate only those pewww pewww tom tom sounds, the SDSV module produced a wide range of sounds. With a great punch and sensitivity, a truly unique and cult sound, it can be used for almost everything. The SDSV successor called SDS7 bring some digital low-fi samples in the game and a bunch of additional features like bend direction or FM modulation for a broader range of possible sounds.

The SDSV is a historical piece of gear that has a place in the sound of the 80s and is still used today as a secret weapon.
Only around 5000 of these things are out there so don't count on finding a working one easily or for cheap.
The machine was made by a true innovator. As there were no accurate VST for this legend out there...

I had to make the VSDSX and draw additional features upon a perfect recreation! This is dedicated to Dave Simmons.

The VSDSX VST, which stands for Virtual Simmons Drum System Extended, provides the closest experience to the real thing, for each voice or as it was called (module) it models accurately the analog character of the sound generation, internal circuitry tuning, trigger sensitivity and all the details you can find inside the dedicated manual. for its hybrid voices (HIHAT, CYMBAL, PROM & CLAP are analog but also EPROM based) clocks and counters that read EPROM memory inside a variable sample rate system is perfectly emulated. DAC decodes and output EPROMS data in real-time etc.
It models the SSM2044 filters with fine tuning control over lots of internal circuitry resistors. CV, trigger shapes, and VCA response can also be tuned to produce a wide range of sounds and punch/response, this also emulates how the module will react if triggered with pads or sequencer...
Separate outputs for your DAW, velocity handling etc...You will obtain that legendary powerful analog punch! On top of the cake, one voice can load your own external EPROM image data like on a real SDS1 (EPROM based) pad...This opens up onto a whole new range of sound, still being processed by the circuitry.
VSDSX is now in version 2 and features among other cool things a perfectly emulated Simmons Digital ClapTrap module, a secret weapon which combines a variable sample rate digital source combined with a pitched analog noise, an original feature of the unit was to never produce the same sound twice. Although it is integrated inside VSDSX a dedicated plugin with stereo widening capabilty is provided as a bonus.

VSDSX provides a huge synthetic drum sound by itself and can also be used with great efficiency in drum layering. Parameters automation and modulation can turn this thing into a crazy an creative sound source

Using it for layering with VPROM VST can really bring a nasty funky sound which combine analog and early digital!

Additional modulation source VEL 2 MOD which use velocity to adjust the LFO modulation amount(per voice).
Global option to turn on "OSC Custom" changing all analog oscillators that use the typical analog SDSV shape to use a Sine shape.
Refined sound engine on many levels and tons of bug fixes.
